GHOEGuide.com is an independent online directory and visitor resource designed to help users discover businesses, events, accommodations, dining, shopping, transportation, attractions, services, and experiences in Greensboro, North Carolina.

2. Independent Site

GHOEGuide.com is an independent, unofficial directory. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with North Carolina A&T State University or its official Homecoming activities.

North Carolina A&T State University and other names, trademarks, logos, and brands referenced on this website remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Directory Information

We work to provide useful and accurate information; however, business information, event details, prices, hours, addresses, availability, parking information, and other listing details may change.

Users should verify important information directly with the applicable business, venue, event organizer, or service provider before making plans, purchases, or travel arrangements.

4. Business & Organization Listings

Businesses, organizations, event organizers, and other listing owners are responsible for the accuracy of information they submit to GHOEGuide.

GHOEGuide reserves the right to review, edit, reject, suspend, or remove listings that contain inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, duplicate, or incomplete information or that do not meet directory guidelines.

5. Free & Paid Listings

GHOEGuide may offer free listings as well as paid, featured, promotional, or enhanced listing options.

Purchasing a paid or featured listing provides the benefits described for that plan but does not guarantee website traffic, leads, customers, sales, attendance, or other business results.

6. Paid Listings, Renewals & Refunds

Every business can list on GHOEGuide for free. Businesses & Services listings can also be upgraded to a paid plan:

  • Featured Business — $5 one-time payment for 30 days of featured placement.
  • GHOE 100 Founding Member — $100 one-time payment for 365 days. Includes all Featured Business benefits for the full year, plus an exclusive GHOE 100 Founding Member badge, Founding Member recognition on the website, priority consideration for homepage features, and eligibility for promotional spotlights throughout the year.

No automatic renewal. All paid plans are one-time payments for a fixed period. You will not be charged again unless you choose to renew. We aim to send renewal reminders 7 days and 1 day before a paid plan expires, and you can renew manually from your account dashboard.

When a paid plan expires, its paid benefits end and your listing automatically returns to a free Business Listing. Your listing information, images, and reviews are not deleted or hidden.

Founding Member enrollment is available during the GHOE 100 celebration through December 31, 2026. Businesses that join during this period may continue to renew their Founding Member membership at $100 per year after the enrollment period ends.

Refunds. Payments are non-refundable once your paid listing has been activated, except for duplicate charges, billing errors, paid benefits that were not delivered, or where a refund is required by law. To request a refund in one of these cases, please contact GHOEGuide through our Contact page. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.

7. Events

Events displayed on GHOEGuide may be submitted by event organizers or obtained from publicly available information.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, GHOEGuide is not the organizer, promoter, ticket seller, or operator of listed third-party events and is not responsible for cancellations, schedule changes, ticketing issues, refunds, venue changes, or other event-related matters.

8. External Websites

GHOEGuide may provide links to third-party websites for reservations, tickets, purchases, business websites, transportation, and other services.

GHOEGuide does not control these external websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, transactions, privacy practices, products, or services.

9. User Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for activity conducted through their accounts.

Users should provide accurate information and promptly update information that changes.

10. Acceptable Use

Users may not use GHOEGuide to submit fraudulent or misleading listings, impersonate another person or organization, distribute malicious content, interfere with operation of the website, scrape or reproduce directory content without authorization, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

11. Intellectual Property

Original GHOEGuide branding, website content, graphics, editorial material, directory organization, and other original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Third-party names, logos, photographs, trademarks, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

12. No Guarantee

GHOEGuide is provided as an informational directory and discovery resource. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, quality, safety, or suitability of any third-party business, event, venue, accommodation, service, or experience listed on the website.

Users are responsible for evaluating providers and making their own purchasing, travel, attendance, and other decisions.

13. Changes to These Terms

GHOEGuide may update these Terms & Conditions as the directory, services, and features evolve. The effective date displayed on this page should be updated whenever material changes are made.
